Shivarathri - 12th Feb

In my Life time this is the first year I celebrated Shivrathri.

Oh, Pls don't think bad about me, I know about Shivrathri all the year but never do anything for that. Like keep fasting, going to temple, doing Pooja etc...

You know well since i was working and running like a mad in the office ??? Always my approvals and samples were filled in my mind. Many times i use to pray for my sample approvals to God !!!

This year I whole heartily celebrated. Did Pooja in the morning and in the evening we went to Chinmaya mission attended Pooja. They recited Rudram, Lingastagam and did Archanai. We were so blessed to do Abhishegam for Shiva Lingam and Aarthi. We broke our fast only in the evening after having the Prasadam.
We tried not to sleep the whole night... some how i managed till next day morning 4.30 after that I slept off.
On the whole I spent a day very usefully in reciting Slogam, and thinking about God.

Atlast i did it !
I am feeling much happy to see my little snow man in our patio.

I am a little snowman.
I am so fat and round.
I started from a snowflake
that fell upon the ground.

I have two buttons for my eyes,
and a carrot for a nose.

Watch me
as I melt
to the ground...

60-வது பிறந்தநாள்

எங்க வீட்ல (உர்ல) போன Sunday ஒரு சின்ன function...

என் அப்பாவோட 60-வது பிறந்தநாள். அத celebrate பண்ண வீட்ல ஒரு கணபதி ஹோமம் பண்ணாங்க... Also it was like a family get together !!!
நான் ரொம்ப miss பண்ணினேன்...

இன்னும் கொடுமை எனக்கு யாரும் அந்த function full photo-வை mail பண்ணலை :( !!! என் மாமனார், அவர் எடுத்த சில photo அனுப்பினார், அதுல எங்க சாஸ்த்ரிகள் தான் நிறைய தெரியறார். ஹா,ஹா,ஹா.... (that is not his fault)
இதுல இன்னொரு beauty அந்த function -ல இருந்த பாதி பேரு photo எடுத்தாங்க, அவ்ளோ என்ன கஷ்டமோ அத எனக்கு அனுப்ப ?

Yes, this post is a little late one yet a nice one. (too lazy to organise .....ha,ha,ha)
